Salary: $140k - $145k base 30-40% bonus
Global VC firm seeks an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to be a part of a team of 6 handling the fund accounting for 200 funds. Responsibilities include coordinating new and follow-on investments, updating cap tables, preparing and recommending capital calls and distributions, reviewing quarterly fund financials and consolidated subsidiary financial statements, conducting quarterly portfolio reviews by preparing packages and presentations, and conducting historical trend analysis and ad hoc research/reporting.
The ideal candidate is an experienced senior fund accountant coming from an established VC or PE firm with prior line of credit/sub lines experience. This role will be working onsite 3 days per week and offers excellent work life balance with flexible hours.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
- 5 years fund accounting industry experience working at an established VC or PE firm.
- Management of subscription/fund lines experience is required.
- Must have experience working in a regulatory environment, including reporting, compliance filings, and a deep understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Strong Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, V & X-Lookups, Sum Ifs, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
