The Senior Manager of SEC Reporting for our client will possess strong accounting experience with heavy attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and review of public financial reports, including earnings releases, analyst reports, and regulatory filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, 8-K, Form 4).
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Play a key role in the implementation and compliance of SOX requirements.
- Collaborate with management, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and regulatory filings.
- Lead technical accounting research and documentation to maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory standards.
- Provide executive management with financial analysis and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Support department-wide initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiencies.
- Review and provide feedback on analyses prepared by team members.
- 2 years experience in financial reporting for publicly traded companies
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- CPA or CPA in progress preferred
- Background in public accounting, preferably with a major or national firm
- Skilled with financial disclosure processes and relevant software tools
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and data management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Salary range: $155,000 - $170,000 (depending upon experience).
