Job Responsibilities :
- Expert in month end closing procedures to value inventory.
- Review inventory receiving for accuracy and post journal entries to the general ledger required activity.
- Maintain both standard costs and Bills of Materials for all manufactured items.
- Periodic review of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Expert in established procedures for documenting standard costs and inventory values.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts relating to inventory.
- Assist the Inventory Accounting Manager in preparing audit schedules and as deemed necessary throughout the year.
- Mentor and train Inventory Cost Accountants
