Job Title : Surgery Scheduler
Location : Mesquite, TX 75150
Salary : $20–$23 / hour (based on experience)
Type of Assignment : Contract-to-Hire
Work Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Environment : Medical Clinic
Position Overview :
The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating surgical procedures, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring a seamless scheduling process. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in high-volume scheduling, insurance verification, and surgery coordination .
Key Responsibilities :
- Surgery Scheduling & Coordination :
Schedule surgeries for multiple providers daily ( not assigned to a specific provider ).
Answer patient questions regarding coverage, payments, and procedure details .
Work with government and commercial insurance carriers to verify coverage.
Qualifications :
2 years of experience scheduling non-office medical procedures .
Ophthalmology experience is a plus but not required.
