Role : Talent Acquisition On-Boarding Specialist
Location : Dover, DE
Job Type : Contract, Hybrid, Part-Time
Pay Rate : $21-22 / hour
An Addison Group client is looking for an On-Boarding Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
- Suggest, organize, and facilitate functional communications and initiatives with new hires, employees, supervisors, and vendors to support inclusive onboarding and retention goals
- Guide internal and external hire activity mapping and credentialing based on operational standards and the agency strategic plan to foster retention, compliance, and collaboration
- Maintain readiness to provide coverage and feedback for functional special events, employee record audits, and ad-hoc functional demands to maintain standards and expectations
- Initiate and provide input as well as support on talent-related projects and processes
- Facilitate and participate in activity and research that supports promotion and credibility of our employer brand as well as exercise of best industry practices and trends
- Respond quickly and in confidence to talent acquisition service and support inquiries
- Deliver and reinforce any onboarding or employment information with accuracy and sense of urgency, including process and performance expectations, procedures, and requirements
- Provides guidance, encouragement, verification, and recognition assistance for targeted HR system, vendor, and resource utilization, including ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Administer initial and follow-up activity with candidates, hiring managers, and vendors to guide, align, and monitor candidate and employee record progression, employee resource allocation, and maintenance
- Perform post-hire check-ins and performance evaluation rollout and support for retention
- Build and maintain productive relationships with authorized staff, vendors, and resources engaged in the onboarding and credentialing process
- Work alongside HR staff to report, verify, audit, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain integrity of talent data, communications, compliance, and associated documentation
- Seek and maintain viable membership and affiliation with trade / professional organizations
- Perform, monitor, and report out regularly on sanctions and exclusion checks
- Seek out, capture, and analyze onboarding and employee record activity and compliance data for direct follow-up with leadership
- Maintains and uploads candidate activity and credentials in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and performs data and credential verifications as well as research as applicable
- Identify and support action items and goals as a result of data presented in KPI meetings
- Document and maintain onboarding and credential check standard operating procedures
- Phone screens and routing potential candidates for managers interview
- Processing offer lettters
