Position : Director of Tax
Overview : The Director of Tax will oversee the organization’s tax-related activities, ensuring compliance and providing strategic guidance on tax matters. Key responsibilities include managing tax provisions, returns, audits, and internal controls, as well as collaborating with leadership on accounting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare federal and state tax provisions, roll-forward schedules, and tax returns.
- Support Divisional Controllers with property and sales tax returns, as well as audit support.
- Lead and manage all tax-related audits, including addressing inquiries for annual audits by the CPA firm.
- Review and assess accounting-related internal controls.
- Conduct research and provide insights on various tax inquiries from the business.
- Draft and review tax-related memos, footnotes, and other documentation.
