Job Title : Vendor Management Associate
Location : Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – In-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus one additional day)

Pay : $25-30 / hour (based on experience)
Type : Contract (through December 31st, with potential for extension or conversion).
Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Description :
The Vendor Management Associate will play a key role in managing contingent workforce procurement, working closely with hiring managers and vendors to ensure the efficient sourcing, selection, and onboarding of temporary staff. This role involves contract negotiations, vendor management, procurement analysis, and process improvement initiatives to optimize workforce operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and select contingent workforce candidates.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating Master Services Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and contract amendments.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to provide recommendations on staffing solutions.
- Administer and support Vendor Management System (VMS) operations.
- Assist with RFx processes and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Maintain detailed administrative documentation and track budget impact of contingent labor.
Qualifications :
Strong understanding of Staffing Augmentation & Contingent Labor Programs .
