The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) role will be responsible for sales growth and business development for the assigned region and representative accounts. This is a remote role with up to 70% travel as needed.
Job Duties: coaches, supports and directs the work of a team of sales representatives who are responsible for selling organizational products or services. Establishes individual sales quotas and tracks performance against expectations. Develops and implements specialized or targeted sales strategies. Provides competitive assessments, product or sales training, or pricing and contracting assistance to the sales representative team.
Collaborate with Marketing in promoting the organization's products, specifications, and new product potential. Provide feedback to marketing and sales team, sharing insights on trends, competition, economics, and voice of the customer to help identify and prioritize strategic opportunities.
Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Relevant years of industry experience will be considered.
- Comprehensive and technical knowledge of the HVAC industry, products and systems.
- Familiar and understanding of the rep channel business in sales, working with MEP consulting firms, and contractors.
- Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships.
