Job Title Maintenance Supervisor Reports To Facility Manager
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
1. Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
2. Performs minor electrical maintenance including, but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches, and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
3. Have a basic understanding of the GMPs and Food Security.
4. Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.).
5. Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
6. Perform all duties necessary to meet Addison James Foods, and or Government requirements / standards as prioritized by Addison James Foods, HACCP, and SQF.
7. Perform basic mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting of production machines.
8. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
9. Preform regular preventative maintenance on machines and on production equipment.
10. Read and interpret equipment manuals to preform required maintenance and service.
11. Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
12. Able to work flexible hours.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required as Essential
1. Thorough understanding of all Addison James Foods policies, including GMP’s and safety policies, HACCP & SQF.
2. Effectively communicate with supervisor.
3. The ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided to them.
4. Perform jobs as assigned.
5. May need to lift and move up to 50 pounds depending on assignment.
6. Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.
7. Ability to multi-task.
8. Ability to plan and manage projects under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
9. Occasionally upgrade skill set to meeting changing job conditions.
10. Travel required.
