What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Addison Northwest School District?
Addison Northwest School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide support to teachers, interventionists, MTSS teams, special educators, and other service providers. By developing discrete trial, verbal behavior, and other ABA programs; providing training associated with implementing these programs and collecting data to measure progress; assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans; and collaborating on the development of individual education plans that are based on a variety of assessments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership, analysis, and support in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Promotes quality and compliance of programs and services to improve student achievement.
- Facilitates the design of quality services for students with autism or other behavior challenges by working with parents, teachers, administrators, staff, and students.
- Provides supervision hours to RBTs and BCaBAs, staff seeking RBT or BCaBA certification, and others using the approved sequence designed and monitored through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB®).
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
