Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan
- Streamline recruitment processes
- Manage conflict resolution processes, ensuring a harmonious workplace environment.
- Maintain Human Resource Information Systems for accurate employee data management
- Ensure compliance with FMLA regulations and other labor laws
- Collaborate with department heads to address HR-related issues effectively
- Complete payroll, benefits, and leave of absence functions
- Serves as Paylocity point of contact to assist employees with accessing and utilizing site and app
- Onboards and conducts new hire orientation
- Assists with organizational training efforts relative to human resources policies and practices, organizational development, and compliance
- Manages performance review process for organization
- Assists affiliate companies when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR best practices
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Proficiency in recruiting platforms
- Must adapt easily to changing priorities, function well in fast paced environments, and handle high degree of confidential information
- Expertise in performance management techniques to drive employee engagement
- Effective conflict management skills to resolve workplace disputes amicably
