Position: CFO
Location: New York, NY (In office)
Salary: $200K – $250K Bonus
Family Office Real Estate firm seeks driven CFO to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term investment goals and risk tolerance.
- Manage and optimize both liquid and alternative investments to enhance portfolio performance.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports for the executive team and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Ensure effective cash flow management practices are in place, optimizing liquidity and working capital.
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Family Office-owned entities and related assets (mainly residential real estate properties), quarterly covenant tests (if any), and monitoring compliance.
- Lead finance, accounting, and tax reporting functions for a privately held, family-owned corporation, related entities & principal owners.
- Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, tax
advisors, and property management firms, to enhance operational efficiencies and
optimize tax strategies.
- Ownership of state/federal income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and year-end tax planning for the Family Office and related entities.
- Review and reconcile investments, partnership interest, and intercompany transactions on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Assist with Special Projects or other requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CPA preferred
- 10 years’ relevant experience in family office environment with focus on real estate, liquid assets and alternative investments.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial transactions and investment
portfolios.
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager software a plus.
