Job Description:
The Director of SEC Reporting will lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements) for a small public medical device company. This role ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The director will coordinate with external auditors, legal teams, and internal finance departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including financial statements and disclosures.
- Ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and SOX requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and legal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and SEC regulations, implementing necessary updates.
- Support investor relations with financial reporting and earnings releases.
- Assist in internal controls over financial reporting and SOX compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred with 5 years of experience in SEC reporting and public accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
- Knowledge of Great Plains preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
