What You Can Expect
- Location – North Carolina, United States
- Salary – Up to $85,000
- Work Type – Fixed term contract for 22 months
Main Responsibilities as a Lead Project Manager
- Lead a team of Look Managers responsible for signage, visuals, banners, and sponsorships, while overseeing Installation and Venue Managers during critical installation periods.
- Oversee the process of managing and updating requests from FIFA through change control.
- Assign daily tasks to the venue management team, ensuring clear delegation and accountability.
- Collaborate with the programme manager to align team actions with the overall project timeline, deadlines, and milestones.
- Plan and coordinate the schedule and responsibilities for scoping requirements, ensuring the team is well-trained and prepared.
- Manage all aspects of the project, including design, production, installation, and derigging.
- Assess venue operations for feasibility, scope, risks, budgets, asset listings, on-site management, and health and safety compliance.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and support to maintain project progress and team cohesion.
Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of site operations and brand positioning, with expertise in project execution.
- Extensive experience in a project management role or equivalent capacity.
- Proven track record in people management, including leadership, delegation, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, organization, and problem-solving for multi-sport international events.
- Deep knowledge of Look, Signage, and Wayfinding design, with experience in at least three international multi-sport events.
- Exceptional communication and team-building capabilities.
- Positive, hands-on attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to travel, with work split between North Carolina and the stadiums involved.
