Main Responsibilities as an Operations Manager
- Lead, motivate, and support the operations team, fostering collaboration and driving operational excellence to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with senior management to set goals and manage risks by developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Ensure clear communication of updates, progress, and reports on risks, issues, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee budget management, ensuring costs stay within limits and financial risks are addressed.
- Manage warehousing, storage, and timely distribution of materials to venues, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Oversee supply chain operations, supplier relationships, and key areas such as fleet management, H&S, sustainability, and plant hire.
- Implement policies to maintain a safe, compliant working environment across all project activities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage client expectations by addressing concerns and providing solutions.

- Proven experience in operations management, particularly with large-scale projects in industries like event management, construction, or similar sectors that require complex logistics.
