Job Title: Machine Maintenance
Location: Wright City, MO 63390
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift / A Shift
About the Job:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the day-to-day activities associated with all aspects of manufacturing operations, including installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.
- Establish a proactive and reactive maintenance program.
- Participate in our safety program.
- Fulfill machine oiling, chip hopper emptying, floor sweeping, and scrubbing tasks.
- Clean coolant tanks and burr benches.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines.
- Perform building maintenance, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.
- Maintain the outside, parking lot, and dock area.
Requirements:
- A commitment to a safety culture where safety is the top priority.
- Proficiency in problem analysis, problem-solving, and successful resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and group communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance/technical role is preferred.
- Experience with equipment installs and modifications in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with CNC machines is preferred.
- Preferred experience working in CAD.
- Preferred additive OEM and FSE experience.
Work Environment:
- This position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas, where personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment must be used.
- Ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
Physical Demands:
- Sit or stand as needed.
- Walk primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reach above shoulder height, below the waist, or lift as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques are required.
- Ability and comfortability to work in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.
- Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
