You will be responsible for attending early-stage sales discussions, optimizing customer geometries for printability and performance, and developing support and compensation strategies to achieve first-time printing success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research end users' needs through communication with sales and directly with clients
- Optimize part files to enhance printability, ease of post-processing, and functionality
- Create build layouts and files for a range of laser powder bed fusion printing equipment
- Increase organizational competencies in AM process simulation, topology optimization, and generative design
- Develop support structure and machining plans for product realization utilizing both additive and subtractive methods
- Work with CNC machining team to develop estimates for both full CNC and AM/CNC hybrid projects
