">In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and detailing molds, models, and fixtures using SolidWorks, as well as assisting in quoting tools and communicating with customers.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Design and detail molds, models, and fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Assist in quoting tools and communicate effectively with outside customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety protocols.
- Occasionally work in the tool room, performing machining tasks as needed.
- Specify additive materials and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Read and understand blueprints and drawings, applying GD&T knowledge to create accurate designs.
- Develop an intimate working knowledge of multiple powder bed additive manufacturing machines.
- Apply six-sigma quality tools to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control processes and outcomes.
- Maintain and support processes, procedures, and KPIs owned by this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
Requirements
">- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in additive manufacturing, CAD software, and customer service.
- Two-year degree or technical certification beneficial.
