Addman Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Material Process Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and detailing molds, models, and fixtures for additive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop processes for creating high-quality additive parts using SolidWorks.
- Work closely with the engineering, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of business plans.
- Communicate effectively with external customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict housekeeping standards in the Additive Rooms.
- Perform machining tasks in the Tool Room as needed, utilizing various equipment and machinery.
- Source and specify high-quality additive materials that meet industry standards.
- Analyze blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy and precision in design and production.
- Demonstrate expertise in operating multiple powder bed additive manufacturing machines, ensuring efficient and reliable production.
- Apply six-sigma quality tools to drive continuous improvement and excellence in processes and outcomes.
- Maintain and update processes, procedures, and K.P.I.'s owned by this position.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by management, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Intimate knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
