POSITION SUMMARY:
ADDMAN Precision is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead our precision machining facility focused on the aerospace and defense sector. As the site leader, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the delivery of mission-critical components with precision and quality. This high-impact leadership role will drive operational excellence, lead cross-functional teams, and execute strategic initiatives, including the successful oversight of ERP, MES, and QMS systems. Responsibilities also include future CAPEX planning and requests to support the growth of the company. Frequent interaction with executive leadership and the board of directors is expected, as well as collaboration with sales, engineering, and program management to optimize our internal and external supply chains.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and practices.
- Lead production operations, overseeing CNC machining, post-processing, inspection, and shipment of aerospace and defense hardware.
- Manage production schedules, collaborating with engineering, sales, and program management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate vendor and external site operations to ensure seamless integration with internal production plans.
- Develop and manage machine and facility maintenance plans, ensuring optimal performance of CNC 5-axis machining, heat treatment, and coating operations.
- Provide site leadership during the implementation and integration of ERP, MES, and QMS systems.
- Lead and grow the quality organization, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards.
- Support procurement and installation of additional capacity and capabilities in line with strategic growth plans.
- Develop CAPEX plans and requests aligned with business growth objectives and oversee execution upon approval.
- Deliver operational feedback to sales and engineering to support quoting, proposals, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring alignment on production timelines, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Proactively address customer concerns and support long-term relationship development to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring operational objectives are consistently met.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person citizenship status.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred); equivalent industry experience considered.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in precision machining, specifically within the aerospace and defense industries.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and post-processing operations.
- Prior responsibility for management leadership, including building and developing high-performance teams.
- Knowledge of AS9100 certification requirements and audit preparedness.
- Experience in CAPEX planning and execution to support business growth initiatives.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role operates in a high-precision manufacturing environment at our 45 Cooperative Way Wright City, MO 63390 location near St. Louis.
- Involves regular exposure to CNC machining equipment and related manufacturing processes.
