- Must have US Healthcare Interoperability experience
- Knowledge of health data exchange standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA, API, EDI)
- Knowledge of clinical data terminologies (SNOMED, CPT, LOINC)
- Knowledge of healthcare Payer domain and workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements (Prior Authorizations, Claims, Clinical Data Exchange)
- Either EPIC Payor or Provider knowledge is a must.
- Good to have knowledge of FHIR and HL7 transactions.
- US Healthcare domain knowledge is a must.
- Provider workflow knowledge is a must—must be aware of provider credentialing, contracting, onboarding, and network management.
- PDM (Provider Data Management) knowledge is an added advantage.
- Works within identified scope of project, gathering business requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders, Business Architecture, IT, and vendors (or cross-functional technical teams).
- Must have worked on creating BRD, FRDs, UML, and flow diagrams.
- Ability to facilitate business requirement elicitation sessions with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to perform UAT on business requirements and reports validation.
- Capture and document business requirements, including system application flows and impacts.
- Development of new process flows and functionality integration, adding clarity to requirements and documenting progress.
- Identifies potential issues and risks after conducting a gap analysis.
- Plans and consults with business stakeholders on data reporting and trending reports as needed.
- Primary contact to assist in defining business system requirements.
- Works with appropriate departments to ensure technical information is accurate and documented.
- Create and apply diagrams that represent the flow, process, and transformation of data within various systems for current and future states.
- Maintains approved project artifacts and follows version control processes.
- Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Works independently; receives minimal guidance and collaborates well with the team.
- Ability to coach colleagues with less experience and perform peer reviews for requirements.
- Supports systems testing traceability and provides weekend and/or after-hours assistance as needed.
