Senior Product Owner

The Role
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and technical teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
- Develop and maintain a detailed backlog of product features and enhancements.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of product requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create wireframes and prototypes that meet user needs.
- Ensure that product features are developed according to specifications and delivered on time.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the product meets quality standards.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve product offerings.
- Present product updates and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
- Good to have merchant services/payment domain experience
Requirements:
You are:
- 10 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Management in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).
- Experience in digital banking or fintech solutions.
- Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
