Position Summary :

Addtronics is seeking a Mechanical Detailer who will be critical in producing and maintaining technical documentation for custom automation projects. This individual will be responsible for creating drawing packages, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Purchase Requisitions from 3D models. Additionally, they will ensure the accuracy and upkeep of drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle and generate comprehensive documentation packages for end customers. As a key liaison between the engineering and manufacturing teams, the Mechanical Detailer will address technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and correct any discrepancies between the design and production processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality mechanical systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Produce drawing packages, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Purchase Requisitions from 3D models.
Maintain and update drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Generate comprehensive documentation packages for the end customer, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing teams, addressing technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and correcting any discrepancies or mistakes in the design or production process.

Must-Have Qualifications :

Candidate should have a working knowledge of mechanical and power transmission systems

Candidate should have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

Candidate should have experience with 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)

Candidate should be familiar with manufacturing processes and materials

High School Diploma required

Years of Experience preferred 1-3 years
