We are a fun, innovative, and creative agency that is team-oriented and utilizes various modalities, especially brain-body based interventions, to help heal past traumas.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about the education and training of clinicians. We are looking for someone motivated and interested in building professional experience in private practice as well as professional development and training overall.
The Clinical Supervisor's daily tasks include providing clinical supervision, leading and managing a team of counselors, and overseeing elements of counselors’ experience that impact their role and ability to be successful in their role. The Clinical Supervisor will also continue growth and reflection of their own clinical skills by maintaining a smaller caseload of individuals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of counselors, and therapists for the provision of clinical services.
- Recruit, train, and provide ongoing clinical and job supervision for therapists
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes professional growth and development.
- Ensure that clinical services align with ethical and best practice standards.
- Conduct weekly individual and group clinical supervision sessions
- Support and guide therapists in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and intervention strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required paperwork and documentation
- Establish and consistently uphold quality assurance protocols within the mental health care framework to guarantee the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic interventions and patient support.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the clinical team’s compliance with HIPAA and/or other local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, including workshops, training sessions, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with staff to establish and achieve professional goals
- Foster positive relationships with external referral sources, community organizations, and other healthcare professionals.
- Represent the practice at relevant community events and professional conferences.
- Actively participate in team-building activities and contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture by engaging in open communication, and sharing insights and ideas to enhance the overall team dynamic.
- Provide direct clinical services to a small caseload of individuals
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current, active license in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist
- Approved clinical supervisor by the state of Virginia
- Must have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a similar discipline with related coursework leading to licensure
- Must have 5 years of work experience as a therapist.
- 2 or more years of experience supervising personnel.
- Must have completed an approved supervision training.

- Must have good time management skills.

- Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
Salary: $80,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience
