What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Addy's Hope Social Services?
The role of the Case Manager will be to recruit, train, and support adoptive parents through the adoption process. Recruitment will occur through community connections and outreach. The Case Manager will work with CPS in order to match approved families with legally free children waiting to be adopted. This position offers a unique opportunity for those who have a desire to affect real change in the lives of children in the CPS system without having to navigate the long and unpredictable hours of most case management . There is also a unique opportunity to offer input into a growing agency looking for innovative ways to DFPS in finding permanent homes for the waiting children of Texas.
The case manager will also serve birth families seeking adoptive placement for their child, and license and support families seeking infant adoption. The case manager will also be responsible for aiding the Program Director in fundraising efforts.
A working knowledge of DFPS Child Placing Agency minimum standards is a plus. Applicants who meet child placement management staff as required by DFPS which includes at least 2 years experience working for a licensed child placing agency will be given preference.
Travel to Midland to meet with Program Director will be required a minimum of twice a month.
