About the Job
We are seeking a skilled CAD designer to join our team at Adecco Permanent Recruitment. As a CAD designer, you will work from customer drawings, data files, and engineering sketches to prepare drawings for use in the manufacture of castings and assemblies using a CAD system.
- You will use solid modeling to create casting, pattern, and die designs, applying shrink allowance per engineering standards, including weight calculations.
- Prepare machining drawings and process sheets for machining operations, including all manufacturing notes, tolerances, part weights, and other requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a CAD database including drawing numbers, revision levels, and conversions to item numbers as required.
- Operate a plotter to produce hard copies of drawings.
