About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team. This role involves analyzing, optimizing, and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and ergonomic system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis: Study current production processes, conduct time studies, and identify inefficiencies using data collection and work observations.
- System Design: Develop and implement optimized workflows, equipment layouts, and material handling methods to enhance efficiency.
- Cost Analysis: Estimate production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and evaluate financial impacts of process modifications.
- Quality Control: Implement quality measures to minimize defects and ensure products meet specifications.
- Capacity Planning: Assess production capacity and recommend solutions to meet fluctuating demands.
- Project Management: Lead process improvement projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Data Analysis: Leverage analytical tools to assess trends, drive improvements, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lean Manufacturing: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to eliminate waste and improve operational performance.
- Ergonomics & Safety: Design workstations and processes that prioritize worker safety, reduce fatigue, and comply with safety best practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and management teams to implement and sustain process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field).
- 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, or production engineering.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process flow ergonomics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process data analysis and optimization.
- Expertise in time studies, workflow design, and cost reduction strategies.
- Knowledge of safety best practices, ergonomics, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
