Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable Team)
Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting and data entry tasks with a concentration in Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Follow-up and Resolution: Ensures that all inquiries are resolved satisfactorily, following up as necessary to confirm that issues have been addressed and solutions are effective. Reporting to Finance Manager.
Collaborative Teamwork: Works effectively with different teams or departments to ensure project objectives are met, offering support and expertise where needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
Processing invoices: Ensuring invoices are received, recorded, and processed accurately and on time
Reconciling accounts: Reconciling accounts to ensure that the amounts paid match the goods and services received
Managing vendor relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, distributors and managing important vendor relationships
Monitoring expenses: Monitoring expenses and keeping records for tax purposes
Preparing financial reports: Preparing financial reports and performing recordkeeping
Staying current: Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration.
- Experience: 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to Office Dynamics: Ability to work within an office environment during normal working hours and assist other departments

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
