Pay Details: $29.00 to $35.00 per hour

This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support production schedules, optimize supplier performance, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. You will play a crucial role in helping us maintain our industry-leading position by managing material flow and reducing inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, order, and expedite materials to support production schedules.
- Use MRP and visual management tools to ensure continuous material supply.
- Issue timely releases to suppliers and confirm acknowledgment of releases.
- Address and mitigate any material shortages proactively.
- Manage planning parameters to minimize excess inventory and obsolete materials.
- Collaborate in improvement activities, focusing on material presentation, warehouse layout, and process enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 8 years of experience in materials or purchasing.
- Experience in materials management and/or purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and experience with MRP systems (JDE-Oracle preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
