Customer Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster
Adecco is recruiting for a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a remote team. This position is a potential Temp-to-Perm opportunity and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims handling across multiple states.
As a Claims Adjuster , you will be responsible for analyzing mid- and higher-level workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due, ensuring claims are adjudicated within company standards, and identifying subrogation of claims while negotiating settlements.

Qualifications :
Experience : At least 3 years of workers' compensation claims handling experience in multiple SE states.
Must have workers' compensation experience—no other lines of business will be considered.
Education : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Working knowledge of regulations, offsets, deductions, disability duration, and medical management practices, as well as Social Security and Medicare application procedures.
Strong organizational skills and excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and meet or exceed service expectations.
Responsibilities :
Manage workers' compensation claims to determine compensability and benefits due on long-term indemnity claims.
Monitor reserve accuracy and file necessary documentation with the state agency.
Develop and manage claims' action plans to ensure resolution, coordinate return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments.
Approve and process assigned claims, determining benefits due and managing action plans per claim or client contract.
Negotiate settlements and manage subrogation of claims.
Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients, ensuring professional relationships.
Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
May process complex lifetime medical or defined period medical claims, including state and physician filings and decisions on treatments recommended by utilization review.

Pay Details : $45.00 per hour
