Our client is a global manufacturer who offers an excellent culture and benefits.Compensation Specialistwill ensure that the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) group is able to drive initiatives and processes based on data insights, market practice and good judgment.Compensation Specialistwill have responsibilities for the following tasks :Administer a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation package that fits and is aligned to our companys strategy and business goalsMaintain a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectivesEnsure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc.)Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensationsAssess employees needs by conducting employee value proposition (EVP) surveys to find out what motivates and engages employeesPrepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classificationsParticipate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefitsDevelop and deploy effective communication strategies and success metricsConduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practicesConduct periodic audits and prepare reportsRequired Skills & Qualification :Proven working experience as a Compensation SpecialistPrior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle managementWorking knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems, Mercer IPE would be preferable.Previous experience with employee value proposition (EVP) and labor market surveysAdequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulationsFamiliarity with various types of incentives and benefitsExtensive knowledge of HRIS and MS OfficeStrong quantitative and analytical skillsBS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or FinanceSalary, Bonus, 401k match, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays
