What You’ll Do :
Diagnose, isolate, and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced tools and test instruments.
Perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on track.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including AC and DC systems, motors, transformers, and high-voltage systems.
Install and maintain electrical systems in compliance with the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code .
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and longevity of systems.
Utilize industry-standard safety protocols, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Collaborate with a skilled team to maintain ISO certification and ensure operational excellence.
What You Bring to the Team :
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or vocational training plus completion of a formal accredited apprenticeship or equivalent trades training.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of electrical systems, including Ohm’s Law, AC / DC motors, transformers, and troubleshooting tools like meggers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Personal Attributes :
Highly organized, driven, and eager to grow in your role.
A team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
What to Expect : Physical Demands :
Regular standing and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), with activities such as reaching, climbing, and stooping.
Work Environment :
Exposure to moving parts, electrical systems, airborne particles, heat, and noise.
