Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift or other heavy equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within our facility. This role requires attention to safety, efficiency, and organization to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform pre-shift safety checks on forklifts, including fluid levels (oil, water, fuel).
Move palletized products from production lines to storage or loading areas.
Operate stretch-wrappers and replace stretch film as needed.
Maintain proper inventory placement, ensuring accurate stacking without damage.
Assist in keeping the facility clean by restacking, removing debris, and washing equipment.
Read and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), ensuring the correct quantity and SKU placement on outbound shipments.
Communicate any BOL discrepancies to dispatch or office personnel.
Conduct physical inventory counts of finished goods as required.
Adhere to all quality and safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred).
Safety toed shoes or boots.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on / off equipment safely.
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (dust, heat, cold, rain).
Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to read and write in English (or demonstrate the ability to follow instructions effectively).

Pay Details : $17.60 per hour
