**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Lead to oversee the production process at our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal and/or warehousing, with a strong background in quality control and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure efficient production processes.
- Plan production schedules, review component parts, and sub-assembly availability against build schedule.
- Review parts shortages with purchasing and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to operating procedures and requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through actively engaging employees in areas of waste identification and elimination.
- Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product.
Requirements:
- Two plus years related experience required.
- Experience with sheet metal and/or warehousing preferred.
- Union experience a plus.
- Shift is from 6 am to 2:30 pm but will need to be flexible. Saturday's rotate.
- MS Office proficient.
- SAP knowledge.
