At Adecco US, Inc., we are committed to providing top talent to our clients in the manufacturing industry. We currently have an opening for a Non-Destructive Testing Level II inspector at an aerospace company in East Granby, CT.
About the Role
This is a first-shift opportunity with a pay range of $26.00 to $34.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various inspection tasks, including magnetic particle inspection and fluorescent penetrant testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Pass general, specific, and practical examinations at set intervals as specified in NAS410.
- Pass annual NAS410 eye exams.
- Maintain and record scheduled NDT process control checks.
- Process and inspect customer products in accordance with customer requirements.
- Interpret inspection results to customer acceptance criteria and report non-conformances found.
- Oversight and instruction of trainees while in training for certification.
Qualifications
- Must have previously documented formal training as certified to NAS410 in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT) and Fluorescent Penetrant (PT) Level 2.
- Ability to pass an annual eye exam per NAS410.
- Records of past employment and exams desired.
- Two years experience as a Level 2 (NAS 410 certification) in Magnetic Particle and/or Fluorescent Penetrant.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Able to effectively present and report non-conformances and findings onto applicable documents.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
