Job Summary:

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Support Professional to provide essential support to the team in West Salem, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have experience in front-desk responsibilities and administrative tasks.

About the Role:

The Office Support Professional will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments, greeting visitors professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly, maintaining filing systems, and overseeing the ordering of supplies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist various departments by preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Greet visitors professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain filing systems and oversee the ordering of supplies, ensuring a tidy workspace.
  • Facilitate smooth interdepartmental communication and manage incoming mail; route inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Schedule appointments, reserve meeting spaces, and assist in organizing interdepartmental events, including preparing agendas and materials.
  • Help maintain departmental websites to ensure information is current and relevant.
  • Work with team members on various projects to enhance office efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing new systems and procedures, ensuring smooth transitions across departments.
  • Liaise with external vendors for office services and maintenance of equipment.
  • Exercise good judgment in escalating issues as needed.
  • Run office errands and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role.
  • Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Customer service-oriented with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and prioritize effectively.
  • Clean driving record for use of company vehicles.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
