Job Summary:
An Inspector position is available to ensure the quality of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet customer specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct visual inspections or use precision measuring tools to verify parts meet standards.
Participate in receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. At least three months of relevant experience are also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of relevant experience is preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification is also desired.
Work Environment:
The role involves medium work with occasional lifting of 20-50 pounds, frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds, and consistent lifting of up to 10 pounds.
Physical Demands:
Frequent reaching and extending hands and arms. Handling objects by grasping, holding, or turning. Using fingers to pick or pinch. Clear vision within 20 inches or less. Judging distances and perceiving objects three-dimensionally. Adjusting focus for sharp vision.
