- Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support
We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support duties. This position will play a key role in various quality and manufacturing support efforts, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.
Primary Responsibilities :Inspect precision machined products using a variety of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, profilometers, portable CMM, and laser tracker CMM. Inspections will be conducted both in-process and upon completion.Purchase and maintain production tooling and shop supplies.Expedite raw material and subcontract purchase orders, directly communicating with vendors.Conduct hydro-pressure testing.Develop and maintain quality reports based on inspection and test data.Communicate quality findings and concerns to the Quality Director and / or management.Perform receipt inspections of raw materials and subcontracted processes, including physical inspections and document / specification reviews.Ensure that measuring and test equipment is calibrated according to WPT quality programs and that it is stored and functioning correctly.Maintain quality records and procedures.Manufacturing Quality Technician Requirements :High School Diploma or GED.2-5 years of inspection and / or production experience in a machine shop environment.Proficiency with manual measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including fractions, ratios, and angles.High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.Strong organizational and self-motivational skills.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Ability to work independently and maintain focus on tasks.Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.How to Apply :Please apply to this posting with an updated resume.
