Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Adecco. This is a permanent direct hire opportunity with full company benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, creating, and managing SQF/HARPC and Quality programs at our facility in Georgia, VT.
The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and elaborate SQF/HARPC program documentation, including collecting necessary information and writing procedures covering GMPs, HARPC, and other pre-requisite programs.
- Review Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring and verification records to ensure compliance with HACCP critical limits and frequencies, as required by the HARPC plan.
- Review and evaluate all records for accuracy and completeness, determining need for process improvement.
- Develop and implement training plans for SQF, FSMA, HARPC, GMP, allergen control, chemical control, glass control, SSOPs, and all required plant programs.
- Evaluate and manage customer complaints.
- Lead/guide FDA inspectors and customers auditors during inspections/audits.
- Manage customer complaints and follow up on non-compliance issues.
- Contribute to the efforts of the Quality Control & Assurance team to ensure the success of tasks and projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the food industry and similar functions.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of hygienic and security rules applied to the food industry.
