Adecco Healthcare & Lifesciences is seeking a skilled Scientist for their client in Clark, NJ.
Job Description
Under the supervision of a project leader or senior scientist, perform laboratory work to support scientific discovery programs related to skin biology.
Conduct in vitro experiments on 2D cells, 3D reconstructed skin or ex vivo human skin. This includes micro-dissection of human skin biopsies.
Conduct immunohistochemistry experiments and biological assays.
Work cross-functionally with analytical teams and formulators to design and run experiments.
Manage, collect, analyze, summarize, upload to internal databases and report high-quality data in a timely manner.
Manage laboratory operations, including ordering, organizing and supply management.
Job Qualification
Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences or related fields with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.
Required skills include culturing and setting up test systems using human keratinocytes and fibroblasts, excellent tissue culture and sterile technique, and experience handling human tissue samples.
Additional requirements include conducting multiplex ELISA and general ELISA assays, immunofluorescence, IHC and PCR methods, and proficiency in writing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Strong communication, presentation and project management skills are essential, as well as self-motivation and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in microscopy imaging techniques and a basic understanding of next-generation sequencing technologies.
