Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor! This role is remote / work from home. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration. Type : Four-month contract, opportunity for extension Schedule : Part time, Monday through Friday - 9am to 3pm Pay : $33.00 to $36.00 an hour Responsibilities of the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor :

• Application of vocational knowledge through assessment and synthesis of claim file information and ability to offer balanced conclusions.
• Ability to concisely communicate (written and verbally) complex vocational issues in a fast-paced, environment.
• Partner with multiple resources to identify, develop, coordinate and implement complex vocational rehabilitation and return to work plans.
• Collaboration with internal and external resources to gather pertinent vocational and medical documentation to accurately assess file direction.
• Responsible for comprehensive forensic vocational assessments.
• Provide coaching of claims professionals to increase vocational knowledge.
• Operate with a sense of urgency and flexibility to meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment, while meeting performance standards set for quality and quantity of work.
• Display capacity and drive for learning and developing broad business and leadership skills; openness to diverse ideas & experiences and has self-awareness re : strengths and areas of development.
• Must maintain professional certifications and complete other required educational activities. Qualifications for the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor :
• Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation or related field (ex. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Higher Education, Behavioral Health)
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years vocational experience preferred
• Familiarity with a variety of vocational resources / software. Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
