What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Adecco USA?
Adecco is assisting a client in Janesville, WI in hiring a 1st shift Warehouse Associate. Pay is $17.50 / hr and hours are from 7 : 30am-4pm. This is a temp to hire role.
Job Duties include :
- Navigate within warehousing programs in ERP system.
- Ensure proper selection for orders, keep orders separate by shipment, mark orders as to partial shipments, out of stock, material test report retrieval, etc.
- Deliver order to verification area with accurate requested documentation.
- Pack parts or products in standard boxes or crates for domestic or foreign shipments to conform with specifications and requirements.
- Form up, staple or tape seal boxes. Place locators and pads to prevent shifts and damage, seal cartons to ensure travel quality. Requisition packing materials.
- Responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments in accordance with shipping requirements and specifications. Must process on UPS and FedEx systems.
- Check shipment for correct materials, packing and crating, tagging and handling instructions, loading and bracing, etc.
- Process LTL truck shipments via internet and phone arrangements.
