About the Position:
We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Filling bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, including refrigerated items
- Using SI Baker equipment to fill bottles
- Verifying the size and strength of products before selecting orders
- Inventorying cycle counts of each medication
- Performing cleaning and maintenance on all cassettes
- Counting stock to maintain inventory
- Selecting drugs from stock for preparation
- Counting or pouring pharmaceuticals
- Placing pharmaceutical products in appropriate containers and affixing labels to containers in Bulk
- Maintaining prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals
- Receiving and storing incoming supplies
- Processing orders for shipping
- Assisting in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory
- Folding and packing paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
- Sending orders to customers
Requirements:
- Pharmacy technician license (California)
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in pharmacy technician role
