The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking applicants interested in fulfilling long term substitute positions for a second-grade classroom from Mid-August until early October.
Meadow View is a progressive second, third, and fourth grade building with small class sizes and an energetic, collaborative staff. Meadow View educates approximately 550 students and is located directly west of Waukee on the edge of the Des Moines metropolitan area.
The ideal candidate would have experience teaching reading in whole and small groups, use best practices in math instruction, and have experience with technology integration within the classroom. Applicants will embrace and promote the mission of our school and the ADM district, must be highly collaborative, demonstrate passion for education, and be humble.
Candidates must lead with humility and strive for continued improvement. Applicants must be highly collaborative and able to analyze student achievement data to make instructional decisions. The ADM staff is committed to the Professional Learning Community model and this position would require a dedication to collaborative teaming and student achievement. - Valid Teacher License K-6 Endorsement
