What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Practice Partner/Mental Health Counselor position at Adel Mental Health?
Private Practice Partner with Adel Mental Health
Are you seeking to expand your clinical role and maximize your potential as a licensed private practice practitioner? Adel Mental Health is seeking a licensed mental health counselor or licensed social worker to partner with our team who is interested in private practice or has their own business already as we do not pay a salary. We are a collaborative group of independent private practitioners. Adel Mental Health has been in practice for over 14 years and has developed a good working relationship with referral sources. As such, we are seeking to grow in partnership with the right candidate(s).
We are interested in meeting individuals who enjoy being a part of team and working together to professionally develop. Our work environment is professional but relaxed, authentic, and interdependent. We work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our cooperative style of business is a hybrid model offering an autonomous environment in which providers maximize their potential while also having peer support. Our team engages in weekly clinical and business consultation for an hour total.
A provider joining our team will manage their own schedule, including how many clients they may choose to have on their caseload. Most of our clients are seen in-office in Adel, but clients and therapists can use telehealth at the mutual discretion of the providers and their clients. Paperwork in a small private clinic is minimal compared to larger facilities. As such, each provider has a high degree of discretion. The provider joining our team chooses their own software, paperwork format, and does not pay a percentage of their earnings to other partners. Rather, our team splits base overhead costs, which we strive to keep to a minimum. The profit you make beyond that is self-determined.
A Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work is required and applicants must be fully licensed. Preferred candidates will have a willingness to work with children and adolescents as a part of their clientele. Full-time preferred.
