As a Supported Living Staff, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of personal care of seniors in a residential home including but not limited to personal care, to include oral care, toileting, repositioning, bathing, eating, etc., household duties and client health care. You will contribute and assist with developing and implementation of client plans and directives. You will communicate with the clients and encourage independence and participation in all aspects of daily living. Interacts positively and constructively with all parties.
Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English at the level of proficiency required for the position in accordance with State requirements. Bi-lingual preferred.
Other Requirements: Must pass background/fingerprint investigation, pre-employment drug screening and TB test. Must have own reliable transportation. Must successfully complete training courses and pass written competency examinations mandated by the New Mexico Department of Health DDSD. Must pass and maintain training certification in all state, agency, and/or other training requirements of the position and job assignment. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. with assistance or independently, bend stoop, reach above shoulders, balance, push, pull frequently. Must be able to support 130lbs. Adelante is a drug free workplace.
