RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Adelante Mujeres team, the Family Engagement Coordinator leads a team of Family Support Facilitators to promote growth, leadership and empowerment among families. The Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of culturally responsive family engagement programming in the Education Department at Adelante Mujeres. This includes parent trainings, two-generational learning programs, and engagement activities that foster strong relationships between families and educational systems. The Family Engagement Coordinator works collaboratively with Family Support Facilitators, educators, and community partners to ensure high-quality, culturally relevant services for children, parents, and families. The Family Engagement Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Education Programs.
- Support the strategic visioning and oversight of day-to-day program operations and program policies and procedures. This includes budget management and monitoring program outcomes among other responsibilities.
- Lead culturally responsive family engagement programming that aligns with Adelante Mujeres' mission and values.
- Collaborate across Adelante teams to integrate services and ensure recruitment and retention of families across educational programs.
- Provide direct supervision and support to Family Support Facilitators, ensuring high-quality service delivery while fostering their professional growth.
- Foster community partnerships via committees, meetings with funders, and state level advocacy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
- Associate Degree in Education or strongly related field
- Minimum of three years experience working with Latine, low income, immigrant, diverse families
- Minimum of three years supervisory, coaching and/or talent development experience preferred
- Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English required
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, proficient in Zoom, TEAMS, and other virtual platforms
- Ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience in grant reporting
- Knowledge of curriculum development, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of program delivery quality
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and excellent organizational skills

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $54K-$58K depending on qualifications
- Classification: Full-time, exempt
- Telework: up to 2 days a week depending on the department's needs
