Must be a ble to provide 50% night or weekend coverage with availability

Patient Information
Patient Demographics : Majority Pediatrics Neonatal (8 beds) 8% Adults
Patient Volume : 1718 per day (Majority of patients are surgical)
Annual Surgeries : 350
Case Mix : heart failure population patients; on vents who are pre & post op with cardiac catheterization many on ECMO many prepost op transplant
Facility Information
No. of Hospital Beds : 18
EMR System : Epic
Support Staff Available : 2 teams each with : 1 attending 3 NP 1 fellow
Reason for Coverage : Supplemental

Special Procedures
APPs may perform IVs & arterial lines intubation and central lines; most procedures done by fellow or attending
Skills Required
Must be comfortable in PCICU inpatient setting
Working with neonatals all the way up to adult populations
Must have knowledge of general cardiovascular critical care particularly peds
Experience managing ECMO / CRRT / Bags
Job Requirements
Licenses : Active CA License
Certifications : DEA BLS & PALS (AHA)
Experience : Minimum 1 year of PCICU experience
Must be experienced with pediatric cardiovascular critical care
Covid19 required including booster
