Patient Volume : 60.27 patients per day
Case Mix : General Emergency Medicine

ED Beds : 24
EMR System : Epic
Support Staff Available : Physicians and APPs (Advanced Practice Providers 24hour daily with some flexibility)
Specialty Backup Available : Limited onsite specialties; higher acuity cases referred to St. Michael s main campus
Scribe Coverage : Not Provided
Reason for Coverage : Transition of ownership and staffing needs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
Temporary Privileges Available : Yes (3060 days for temporary privileging expedited if provider has a clean file)
Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 3060 days
Orientation Requirements : 4hour remote EMR training (mainly offered on Mondays) and inperson hospital orientation with shadow shift

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses : Active Texas State License
Certifications : ACLS ATLS BLS (ATLS can be expired for EM Boarded physicians if previous certification can be shown)
Experience :
Must have completed an Emergency Medicine (EM) or Family Medicine (FM) residency
FM candidates must demonstrate active practice in an Emergency Department setting with a census exceeding 10000 visits per year within the last two years
Other Qualifications :
Board Certification by ABEM AOBEM ABFM ABIM or equivalent
Must hold an MD degree

Deliver highquality emergency care to patients in a fastpaced environment
Manage 12hour shifts independently handling approximately 60.27 patients per day
Participate in required orientation and EMR training
Adhere to hospital protocols and compliance standards
