  • Coverage Period : March 3, 2025 – Ongoing
  • Clinical Shift Schedule : Thursdays 7 : 00 AM – Fridays 7 : 00 AM and one weekend per month (Friday 7 : 00 AM – Monday 7 : 00 AM)
  • On-Call Shift Schedule : Call coverage for Interventional Cardiology only during designated shifts

  • Patient Demographics : Adults (18 )
  • Patient Volume / Census : Varies based on call and cath lab coverage
  • Admissions : Yes
  • Rounding : Included as part of call duties
  • Case Mix : Interventional cardiology cases including left heart cath, right heart cath, PCI, and STEMI

  • Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital
  • No. of Beds in Department : 2 Cath Labs / 7-bay PCU
  • EMR System : EPIC
  • Office Equipment Available : Xper monitoring system, GE x-ray equipment, Acist, IFR and Volcano equipment, balloon pump (IABP), and shock wave
  • Specialty Backup Available : Cath lab support staff
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental

    • PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Hospital Privileges Required : Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 45 days
  • Onboarding Requirements : BLS, ACLS, and current flu vaccination

    • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Rate : TBD
  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (flights, hotel, rental car)

    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Left / Right Heart Catheterization
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • STEMI Management
  • Radial Access (preferred) with occasional femoral access

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license
  • Board : Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS
  • Experience : Minimum 3-5 years

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality Interventional cardiology care in a hospital setting
  • Perform required procedures including catheterizations and PCI
  • Manage STEMI cases promptly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with cath lab support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
